Meet The Owner
As a U.S. Air Force veteran and current fire service Lieutenant/EMT with over 20 years of real-world emergency experience, I understand the critical value of quick, effective action. Since 2015, I’ve been sharing that frontline knowledge by teaching individuals, healthcare professionals, and businesses alike.
With a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health and a deep passion for service, I bring both clinical expertise and practical instruction to every training session. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION - BLS FOR Healthcare Providers
American Heart Association BLS with AED and First Aid Courses (In-Person)
We offer BLS certifications for groups and individuals at the location of your choosing. Contact us to schedule a training session at your location. Email Eric at Eric@respondfirstcpr.com for availability.
American Heart Association BLS, Initial Certification $110
Intended for healthcare staff and students in healthcare programs. This is the initial certification. Individuals with BLS certifications that are over 30 days expired would be required to retake this course. (3 Hrs)
American Heart Association BLS, Renewal $70
Intended for individuals with current and unexpired BLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Certifications that are less than 30 days expired will be allowed to enroll in this course. (2 Hrs)
American Heart Association Skills Check for Web-Based BLS Courses $50
Skills check-off ONLY for web based AHA Blended BLS courses. (1 Hr)

American Heart Assoc. Heartsaver Courses
HeartSaver CPR With AED and First Aid (In-Person)
This basic CPR course is designed for the non-healthcare learner. This course meets all state and federal CPR requirements for non-healthcare workers. Topics covered will include CPR for adults, children and infants, AED use, and First Aid.
American Heart Assoc. Heartsaver Total CPR, AED, & First Aid (Adult, Child, & Infant) $140
CPR, AED, and first aid certification course intended for non-healthcare personnel. This course will cover CPR, AED, & first aid for adults, children, and infants. (4 Hrs)
American Heart Assoc. CPR, AED, & First Aid (Adult) $110
Classroom based CPR, AED, and first aid certification course intended for non-healthcare personnel. ONLY ADULT RESUSCITATION will be covered. (3 Hrs)
Online Bloodborne Pathogen Training $50
The AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as: Healthcare workers, Correctional Officers, Childcare workers, Security guards, Maintenance workers, School personnel, Hotel housekeepers, Health and fitness club staff, and Tattoo artists. Instructor-led training is available upon request. (1hr)
CHildcare Certifications
Babysitter's Certification Course $100
This SCDHEC compliant course provides training in CPR, AED, and First Aid for children and infants. Upon completion of this course, the learner will be issued an American Heart Association Child and Infant CPR with AED & First Aid Certification Card.
Child and Infant CPR with First Aid for Childcare Staff $110
This SCDHEC compliant course is designed specifically for daycare and after-school program staff. Topics covered will include CPR, AED, and First Aid for children younger than 8 years old and infants.
Infant CPR & First Aid $40
This non-certification course is designed to teach parents and caregivers how to effectively recognize cardiac and respiratory arrest in infants and respond quickly. First aid for choking and minor to major injuries are also covered.
